Just Hanging Out Around the House

We have been having a great time at home. Maisy is growing so fast already and time is just flying by. Kegan and Truly are really enjoying their new school they attend Tuesday-Thursday. Kegan is still dancing on Friday's. All that makes for short weeks that melt away before you know it. My precious Maisy actually slept for an 8 hour stretch last night. I hope she plans to make that a habit. I was up at 3am not knowing what happened unable to sleep anymore and now at almost 6am, Madison is still refusing to wake up. Apparently he has a little more catching up to do than me. That is fair though becuase I am still not functioning on all four cylinders and am reminded by my body when I think I am doing just fine and overdo it, so Madison is still doing most of the work around here. I am so anxious to be back to normal. This is the downside of recovering from a section I suppose, but totally worth it for these 3 precious girls.

Girls ready on 1st day of new school (this picture got lost on my phone, so several weeks old). Thanks to Aunt Alex for new dresses. The girls looked so cute.

Our little lasy Maisy showing off her new full cheeks

view from far away of Kegan and her Daddy running her very 1st race (I was stuck inside the play area fence watching Truly until the club's childcare opened)

Kegan showing off her cool finisher medal

Maisy enjoying a semi-cool afternoon on the swing while sisters play in the yard with Daddy

Madison demonstrating how to do a cartwheel for the girls. They thought this was the best, but then time with their Daddy usually is!

Madison instructing on arms up and toe pointed to prep for the cartwheel

Maisy's first thigh crease....she now has two on each leg! Thickening up fast!

yesterday before the girls left for school, they spent their usual time doding on their little sister

Truly is being sneaky in this one holding onto one of Maisy's pacifiers. Truly never had much interest in pacifiers as an infant, but now with little sister, she won't keep them out of her mouth! I don't know how I'm gonna fix this one. Suggestions welcome.

Random Stuff Hidden on My Phone

So here are some of the many pictures hiding on my phone

Truly picked up Madison's race helmet and said "race" "bike". She is quite the chatterbox now and it is hilarious to listen to her and Kegan. Kegan actually does much better at understanding Truly than we do. Guess they spend a lot more time together chatting.

This is what Maisy did to my belly for over 30 minutes which was followed by 5hours of contractions. Not fun!

This is some of the random sweetness I capture every now and then. We couldn't help but imagine on that day what it will be like with three little girls back there.

The absolute cutest kitty jumpers from Aunt Alex.....Thank you!!! The girls love them.

Maisy after she got all cleaned up and changed into her own clothes at the hospital

Daddy so proud of his new little girl

Big sister so proud to hold her baby sister

Maisy all ready for her first road trip.....well the short ride home anyway.

Maisy's first day out on the porch....one of our last cool days of that week

the next day was warm which was perfect for sunbathing out the bilirubin

Perfect tiny feet, even with all the pokes from the bilirubin tests

not really fitting into the newborn pj's yet

Kegan said her and Truly were "on tv"

Kegan playing with her two babydolls

Truly holding Maisy. She is so sweet. She always kisses her and then tells her she loves her.

Yesterday Maisy still didn't fill out her newborn pj's. When she stretches she looks like a flying squirrel.

Although Madison hasn't picked up his guitar in a long, long time, Kegan managed to convince him to play something for her and Truly to dance to.

Truly likes to scoot across our footboard and pretend she is a train. Sometimes Kegan joins in on the fun too.

Truly and her dancin Santa. Thanks Grammy for this gift. No matter the season, you can always dance with Santa.

And the old popcorn popper toy. I sure hope the sofa holds up.

Apparently spraying your sister with the cold water is hilarious!

Maisy Hospital Picutres

We got our CD of pictures taken by the hospital in today, so here they are. They are all in color and black and white, but newborns are all splotch and red in the beginning, so I am just posting the black and white ones.

Our special girls are all perfectly content in Daddy's hands

The dress is the coming home dress made by Aunt Alex and each of our girls came home that day in them.

Maisy weighed 5lbs 8oz this day that we came home and today a little over a week later she is 5lbs 12oz. Growing fast already.

She started doing this and we just thought it was cute

She actually cried most of the session so we would let her suck on our finger and
then quickly take it out to snap the picture.

A perfectly wonderful gift from God

Our littlest angel

Meet Maisy Monroe Flowers

Welcome to the world Maisy Monroe Flowers. She arrived September 6, 2011 at 4:35pm. She weighed in at 5lbs 15oz and was a very long 19inches. Nana and Pawpa Autin made it in the day before because I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and had a good clue that our section would happen that day. I had a great team of people taking care of me at Baylor Allsaints and it all went over very smoothly.

Daddy and me and our belly wars. Check out Truly in the background. She is such a hoot!

After school Daddy and Pawpa brought the girls over to spend some time with me and the belly for the last time.

But Nana, I won't be the baby anymore:(

While the lovely CRNA and OR team were busy getting me all numbed up and ready, the girls were helping get Daddy all ready to come back to the section room.

Bye-bye Daddy, you come back with a little sister ok!

Two little girls waiting to meet their little sister!

And at 4:35pm into the world comes little Maisy!

Our new little bundle of joy. Looks just like her sisters. Hair just like Kegan's was.

Mommy and Daddy and their sweet little addition.

And.....the sweet big sisters get to meet Maisy!

Daddy, thank you. We have our own babies! (new toys makes every situation a little better)

Nana helps Kegan hold Maisy for the first time. She is now quite the pro and can do it without any help, but gets pretty tired after a few minutes of it.

The next day the girls came to visit after school dressed in their new outfits from Nana and Nanny Jennifer. They are absolutely adorable! Maisy had a blanket to match and hats with bows on them. Nanny Jennifer is getting quite talented in her clothes making. Her bows are pretty darn cute too!

So excited to see Maisy again

Sweet kisses from Truly

My sweet girls

Our improved and newly expanded family.

Kegan getting a little more independence on holding Maisy! Such a good big sister.

Sweet Maisy in her matching hat

Aaron and Anna visited us on Sunday and they got Maisy a cool Hello Kitty (aka Marie) bow and rattle. Kegan is showing her Pan how holding a baby is done.

The girls have been really good about keeping busy since Madison and I are sleep deprived and trying to adjust to the new little one. They had a great time in their princess shoes. Tap dancing on the bottom to their babydoll crib makes a great sound in the laundry room apparently.

According to Kegan, she is going to school and apparently Truly and Elmo are going to church? At least they have their princess shoes on. Uber important!
