Spring Pictures a Little Late

Thanks again to Aunt Alex for some great Spring bubbles. The girls are so adorable in them. These are their Spring pictures. If anyone wants copies, let me know and I'll mail them since I forgot to bring them on our last visits home. Sorry

Truly wasn't happy for most of the photo session, there were actually some real funny ones I didn't get, but I thought this one reminded me so much of one Grammy has on her livingroom wall of me and Jennifer. Jennifer is smiling beautifully and I pretty much looked just like Truly. She is a little me.

A New Way to Use an Old Toy

So Kegan has had this baby doll stroller for a couple of years, but has not really played with it much lately.....until now. I am amazed that the girls have not yet torn the fabric, or broken any bones. Truly almost lost a knee to the sofa and pretty much looks like a crash-test dummy, but continued to laugh by the time she hit the door.

While a little slower, Kegan still enjoys having Truly run her into things as well. These girls aren't prissy in the least. Guess that's what we get for having a stay-at-home Dad. Rough and toug little princesses.

Girls, Girls and more Girls!!!

No, this is not an advertisement for the T&A Cabaret.....For those of you who haven't seen my facebook update from a few weeks ago.....it is another girl. Seems there is something in those Flowers' genes that only makes girls, at least in threes before you get a boy....and I don't know quite yet if we will take our chances with the possibility of a fourth girl. Madison may go mad with all the excess estrogen in the house. The two girls we have are so sweet together, we are kind of excited for another. Amazingly they play together really well and don't fight too much.....yet. Kegan is pretty slick though. I caught her trying to make Truly get out of the stroller she wanted to sit in, so she sweetly started petting her hair and talking real sweet to her, and just like that, Truly smiled and got out.

In April, Madison did the New Orleans 70.3 Ironman, so we took some time to visit my family and his while we were so close. Kegan got some quality time in with her cousins. We even celebrated Ava and Evan's birthdays. This is a picture of the clothes changing bomb the girls set off in Ava's room. They actually didn't even fight. They had the best time. Kegan is still asking to see Ava. She sings songs about her a lot too.

The Ava song...it is a Kegan original

Truly taking her turn driving on our long way home. Apparently she is not buying the whole talking while driving thing as unsafe. She's pretty sassy!

After school sometimes, Daddy treats the girls to 7eleven treats. Kegan has already downed her M&M's by this point, but Truly is still very proud to be working on her Blowpop she picked out.

This is how Truly entertains herself while Kegan is at dancing. The rolls of floor mats are great to climb on.

After a good lunch by Daddy, it is so hard to stay awake for Elmo on Sesame Street. I've never seen her do this. So sweet.

Madison always captures the best picutres that make me smile. He sent me this one when I was stuck late at work.

And this was my morning "hello"

This is the beginnning of the transition which led to the super cheese in the previous picture. Truly got her ear tubes changed out for a long-term set and got her adenoids out. She has been snotty since October and we thought she was just a moody child. Turns out she is super happy all the time and just full of cheesy smiles. She is a different toddler since her surgery.

Sesame Street on Versed must be like Led Zepplin on LSD?

recovery was tough, she was not liking her IV at all, so we kept it covered tightly and she had 3 popsicles and some gatorade before we begged to go home.

The sad ride home with our little post-anesthesia baby!

but, after a nap and some good snuggling, was back to normal

Kegan the daredevil at a race this morning. There was a cool inflatable obstacle course and Kegan did it about 10 times. I didn't know if she was big enough, but she sure showed me!

Sweetly waiting her turn to head out on the obstacle course! our sweet little big girl!

And then there is Kegan's newest musical talent of harmonica playing. Madison got a little one in his race bag from the Miss Blues marathon in January. That darn thing has just surfaced and Kegan is having a blast. She plays and Truly dances. Madison said there was much better performances before this one, but this was all he captured. Still cute.
