Around the House

These are a bunch of random pictures that Madison and I send back and forth on our phones when one of us isn't around. My one rule about him staying at home loving on our sweeties without me around is that I get daily pictures and videos. He does a great job. The only downside is that the videos are poor quality and short to keep text message length, but they suffice to keep me going while I'm away.
Yummy chocolate!

pureed spinach???? not so yummy!

....and mangoes, just make you downright sleepy.

This Snow White bow just sets off this outfit, don't ya think?

This was a super cool train exhibit at the Children's hospital I saw as I was sneaking across the street for some Starbucks at work. I tried to get Madison to get the girls over to see it, but they were napping. It was really cool.

This was Truly with the stomach virus on our way back from Mississippi. I got it the next day and I did NOT look that happy.

The girls hanging out in the back yard while we burned some stuff in the chiminea on one of our first cool evenings

This kitchen set and the princess table and chairs were some great Craigslist finds....I love used stuff!

Please notice in this picture that Madison really thought Kegan's ruffle socks belonged like this? In his defense, I do suppose he never donned a pair in his youth. Guess they just didn't go with the mesh half-shirts and mullet:)

Swinging in this cool flower coat is fun. Apparently makes you super cheesy too!

Ohhhh, look how nicely Kegan's bike goes with my outfit today!

Hey sis, is it alright if I take it for a spin?

Truly is a climber, but still no walking....well, actually she is taking steps on her own every now and then, but it isn't her preferred mode of transportation just yet.

I did some fall planting, and this is what I have so far. What hasn't been habitually peed on by Cisco or pulled apart by Truly is looking really good???!

We are hosting a Halloween party this year and we were trying for some spooky lighting. It isn't all together in this picture, but you can get the idea.

The girls are starting to have a great time playing together. Just today Madison said he left them playing in the backyard while he cooked dinner. They just crack each other up and it is soooo sweet.

More of Our Monkies at the Zoo

A week before we headed to the zoo with my parents, we went with a few friends from work and their kids. The kids all loved it. I think Kegan would be perfectly fine if we went every week. Next year we are getting a yearly membership for sure.
All the kiddo's checking out the turtles and crocodiles, even Truly had a blast since she was able to get out of the stroller and cruise around

Kegan posing with the boys, Trey and Grayson

Some more posin with the boys, poor Truly was zonked and not interested in pictures

Trey trying to show his Dad the aligator and Kegan looking so sweet and innocent???

Cheese!!

Hey guys, you see this big thing?

Truly and her sweet dimples looking at the fish

Wonder if mom would be smiling if she knew about her friend hanging around for the picture???

Two of my sweeties. Aren't they so cute!

This is an extra thrown in. I cut Kegan's hair this past Saturday. I have been dragging my feet about making her a real appointment and when I was drying her hair, I was tired of it being so scraggly in the back. It is probably not straight, but thankfully her hair is curly. It does look much better, just hope I remember to make her an appointment for her 2nd haircut. Almost 3 years old and getting her first haircut.

Nana and Pawpa Autin visit

So it is embarassing that it has been over 2 months since my last blog!!! Sorry guys. This is a short and sweet blog too. It is just some pictures mom sent me after their week with us. It was a great visit, but even for a full 6 day visit, it seemed so short. We did a lot of hangin around, but the highlight of our trip was an entire day at the zoo. While we were taking a break in she shade at the Great Barrier Reef exhibit, Kegan was really having a great time entertaining us with her interpretive dance moves. This is just a short sample of her long performance.

The visit began with a manicure by mommy

Then we went to Grapefest and enjoyed some yummy icecream with lunch....actually I think it was lunch

Nana decided to have some fun with the girls and drag out the sad half deflated pools....they are all definitely ready to be retired

Truly happy to be in the car....a rare occurance, but with Nana entertaining, it is always fun

Our sweet family enjoying the "museum of living art"

Truly still trying to figure out "who is this man with the strange accent"

Kegan has her Pawpa wrapped

Kegan had to stop and pose with each bronze statue at the zoo, this was one of them

This is more great dancing by Kegan
